Here, I explore the myriad ways in which societal expectations, traditions, attitudes, and beliefs are imprinted on the body through the art of tattooing. I delve into captivating tattooing traditions such as Yakuza, Sailors, Maori, USSR camps, Mehndi, and Sicanje tattoos.
