THE GAME

THE GAME is a modular, ever-evolving sculpture composed of human head forms reminiscent of bowling balls. Each piece is meticulously hand-built using various types of clay, then finished with engobes and glazes. Fired at 1120°C, the sculpture continually grows as new heads are added, symbolizing the dynamic and collective nature of human identity.

CHILDHOOD FRONTLINE

The collection of ceramic sculptures CHILDHOOD FRONTLINE / 2024 raise a profound sociopolitical question about the militarization of collective consciousness and the influence of cultural traumas on everyday life, especially on the experience of childhood. The work subtly and sensitively open up space for reflection: how our cultural environment, full of unresolved conflicts and historical traumas, shapes a new reality of childhood, in which the realities of war slip into what should be innocent and safe.
Artwork CHILDHOOD GAMES was selected for 63rd Premio Faenza International Ceramics Competition.

THE BIRTH

The Birth/2023 symbolizes the beginning, when a pure infant enters the world. Here, I explore the myriad ways in which societal expectations, traditions, attitudes, and beliefs are imprinted on the body through the art of tattooing. I delve into captivating tattooing traditions such as Yakuza, Sailors, Maori, USSR camps, Mehndi, and Sicanje tattoos.

Six pieces. Clay, hand molded, casted from plaster forms, glazed, overglaze technique.

Selected for the 15th Westerwald Ceramic Prize, Germany.

INCUBATION

Human growth, development, understanding of environmental rules, learning to live and to be in this world. It is like a person is growing and developing in an egg. Its shell is engraved with the experiences. The stages of human maturity, traumatic experiences and personal development processes are important to me.

Nine various size pieces. Clay, hand molded, engobe / glaze / overglaze expermental technique.
